Cracker Barrel

For Families and members of Cast, Crew, and Alumni of H.I.S. Players

Suggestions for our evening out at Cracker Barrel Saturday night.

We would love to relax and spend as much time together after the show as possible at The Cracker Barrel, but we need EVERYBODY's help.  Here's what YOU can do.

1.                  Check in with Terese Hummel.    She will give you your job assignments for breaking down the set, packing the trailer, and  cleaning the church after Saturday night's performance.  Help from cast, crew, parents and siblings is needed, expected, and appreciated.  Many hands make light work.

2.                  Read the suggestions below for ordering at The Cracker Barrel to keep things running as smoothly as possible with a crowd our size.

3.                  Order from the menu we've printed out. It'll be faster.  (You are welcome to order from the restaurant's regular breakfast or dinner menu – but it may take longer, etc)

4.                  Order as soon as possible with the group you're with.  No need to wait for a table to fill up. Your server will return to your table to take additional orders as others arrive.

5.                  Stay at your table once you've order so your server can find you.  This isn't a fast food place.

6.                  Pay your bill when you've finished eating.  Don't wait until the end of the night, or you'll be disappointed in the long lines. You can always return to your table to keep visiting with others.

7.                  Tip your server.  Show that you appreciate that they are working hard past the restaurant's closing time (11pm) just to accommodate our large, chaotic crowd.  Tips are NOT included in your total bill.  Tips can be left on the table or with your bill at the cash register when you pay. This is your server's main income.  Don't forget them!  They've had a long day too.

8.                  Continue to be a witness for Christ.  Let's leave The Cracker Barrel staff with positive feelings about H.I.S. Players, homeschoolers, and Christ Followers by our Godly manners and attitudes.
We can give God the Glory even when we're having fun and eating!

9.                  Enjoy your night! You've all worked hard. It's time to celebrate a successful season of Ben Hur!

10.              Drive safely home. We look forward to seeing families of cast and crew at Sunday's cast party.

Cracker Barrel is located at: W176 N9778 Rivercrest Drive, Germantown.  It's just one block north of Hwy Q (County Line Road) and just east of Hwy 41/43 behind McDonald's and Super 8 Motel.

Blessings,
Ann Guagliardo,
Member of H.I.S. Players and
new Cracker Barrel server
