Mime, stage combat and dance

I am still working on getting people plugged into slots as best I can in this very complex play. In the next few weeks we will have very wonderful people working with us in mime, stage combat and dance.

Mime with Theo/Jolie Williams will be all galley slaves, Festus and Judah.
Also mimed will be the rock throwing in scene 9 - Courtney E, Bradon K, Luke Pallo, Heather Erickson, Moriah George and Aimee Steffenhagen

Jeremy Woods will be helping us again with stage combat - great guy and fun times. Here are the people for that day: Judah, Thord, Irmin,Festus, Norseman, Caleb Vagnini, Isaiah Gumness(dragging), - this is the heavy combat section.
Also for some light pushing and shoving - scene 1 Tirzah, Miriam, Caleb V, Matthias, Luke Guagliardo, Judah, Messala.

Our own lovely Hannah Nelson will be the dance instructor. And the dancers are Sarah Guagliardo, Aimee S., Kellan V., Abbi Englund, Sarah Erickson, Moriah Hensler, and Sarah Bagin

Wednesday Parent Meeting

Danielle and I are keeping an eye on the weather for tomorrow night. We surmise many of you have rearranged your calendars to make it to the Wed. meeting and we desire to honor that. Of course we really won't know until tomorrow afternoon, so stay tuned to the blog for the information. If we were to push it back to Thursday, how many of you would be unable to come ---please comment in the comment section if you would be unable to make it on Thurs.

(I will be posting results of the auditions this evening.) Deidre

Role development

Thank you everyone for a great audition yesterday. I am still in the process of sorting out the pieces, but I wanted to give you information to help you decipher your role when it comes down. Mrs. Newhouse and I have added quite a bit between the scenes. There is one Roman captain and 3 more soldiers - They appear in or around scenes 1, 2, 7,and epilogue. 6 grey, timeless people will lend some artistic flair to scene 2 and 9. Singers - there are 6 songs in Hebrew and maybe an Arab one in scene 6. Extras not mentioned in the script are an additional Arab woman and an additional Roman maid. There will be a singing dancing group of Hebrews in scene 9. Hebrews are needed in scenes 1, 3, 4, 7, 8 9, 10 and epilogue. Hebrew children are in scenes 4,6,7,9. All this to say there are many parts in the script not listed, so be patient and that will be developed beginning in late Feb /early March. Mrs. Wells
