1. I spoke to you all at the parents' meeting regarding scheduling a couple more performances. We have Monday night scheduled in Hartford with a group of churches there. There is one more opening on either Tuesday or Thurday night. Call me ASAP if your church would like to partner with us in this very unique outreach. At this point we only have 6 performances due to Silverbrook canceling today. The remaining spot(s) should be filled in the next week.
2. We have had a couple requests to move the final dress rehearsal on April 19 from the afternoon to the morning. So far I have one conflict with that change. I need to hear from you if your student cannot make the morning dress rehearsal. And I would need to hear this weekend or Monday at the latest. So please check calendars carefully. Thank you.
3. Another topic from the parents' meeting are the three positions for next year that need to be filled. These are producer, assistant director, and treasurer. Even though these are positions for next year, they need to be filled this spring because these people are essential to pre-production planning prior to auditions. In fact, if I don't have 3-5 people willing to assist me with the pre-production work, I will be unable to direct a play next year.
